Obituary for Martha Maria Faour (Schmid)
Mrs. Martha M. Faour (Schmid), 80, of Fayetteville (born in Augsburg, Germany) passed away on January 1, 2021 in the comfort of her home.
Mrs. Faour was preceded in death by her husband, CW4 (Ret) Norman R. Faour and by her son, Matthew Faour.
Martha is survived by son, Mark (Kathy) Faour; daughters, Connie (David) Carroll and Christa Faour; grandchildren, David Blackwell Jr, Ray, McKenna, Davidson and Calvin Carroll; brothers, Karl and Gunter Schmid, both of Germany; and by her husband's loving family who welcomed Martha into their family and country from Germany so many years ago.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Cape Fear Valley Hospice for their gracious assistance.
To honor Martha's wishes and due to current restrictions, the immediate family will have a private service.
Services are entrusted to Metropolitan Crematorium, Inc.
